This is our film portraying two sub-genres of thrillers - psychological and horror (horror is an arguable one):
Pie filmed both videos. She was very swift and comfortable with working the camera. I think one of the reasons why we got the film done in time was because she didn't hesitate so much on the angle or type of shot we had to use; she already had a vision of how it should turn out to be. This is a storyboard she drew for the project:
George was the actor in the first of the videos. He was very cooperative and complied with what we wanted him to do, even if it sometimes was out of his comfort zone. His work in the sound for the second video is wonderful and I was very happy with how it turned out. He spent a lot of time outside class working on the project to make it come across more professional.
We all had a hand in editing and for me, that was the most fun. I acted in the second video and edited in a few non-diegetic sounds for the first video.
Overall, it was a great experience and I'm really content with the outcome. I feel like we worked quite well as a group and it wasn't too stressful even with the pressure of time.
